Auren Privacy Policy

Overview

Auren helps pet owners create pet profiles, pair devices, scan device codes, and view pet care and guardian experiences. This policy explains what information Auren collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as email address, display name, locale, and timezone; pet profile information such as name, species, breed, weight, birth date, color, personality tags, descriptions, and pet photos; app activity needed to provide product features; and technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the app.

Camera and photos

Auren requests camera access when you scan a pendant or package QR code, take pet profile photos, or add three-view photos for pet profile and digital twin features. Camera access is used only when you start one of these actions. Photos you choose to upload may be sent to Auren services for profile, care, memory, and AI feature processing.

Location

Auren requests approximate or precise location permission to support pet search and guardian map experiences, such as showing the latest location or nearby search context. On Android, Auren requests location while the app is in use and does not request background location permission in this release.

Notifications

Auren may request notification permission to send pet care tips, device status updates, offline alerts, pet search progress, and other guardian reminders. You can manage notification permission in system settings.

Sharing and service providers

Auren may share information with service providers that help operate authentication, cloud storage, media upload, app infrastructure, analytics, AI processing, security, and customer support. We do not sell personal information.

Account deletion and retention

You can request deletion of your Auren account and associated data from the app's Data & Privacy settings when the deletion feature is available for your account. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

共享与服务提供方

Auren 可能会与帮助我们运行认证、云存储、媒体上传、应用基础设施、分析、AI 处理、安全和客户支持的服务提供方共享信息。我们不会出售个人信息。

账号删除与保留

当你的账号可使用删除功能时，你可以在应用的数据与隐私设置中请求删除 Auren 账号及相关数据。出于安全、防欺诈、法律合规或争议处理需要，部分记录可能会按要求保留。
